And yes, if you ask my mother what her greatest fear is about me, it would be my lack of fear.

My parents gave us kids a similar gift - to never overindulge us, but to never let us feel that we lacked. They also taught us about saving money and choosing wisely how to spend.

I am a little embarrassed to admit that I did use the words "I need" just the other day in conjunction with a pair of turquoise pants. But I really do need my turquoise pants, I’m not backing down.

I want to share Rosemary's website. She is a wonderful networker and friend, generous with her time, experience and connections: http://www.meetup.com/Global-Residual-Income-Association/members/8528590/

HeatherHeather J. Until I started seeing the word "HEADER" in huge block letters on the sides of car repair shops. This image is common in Mexico and South Phoenix. It turns out people were calling me "muffler.” Which reminds me, just yesterday I was wondering, "How much could a muffler really cost? Why don't Dominicans find this to be a valuable investment?" I think they actually remove mufflers from cars and motorcycles here for fun. Dominicans like all things LOUD.

With our passion for our cars and all things that have fuel exhaust, well….. your story is hysterical.
Thank you for sharing such a personal story (ies) in your blog. I hope we get a chance to have tea together while you are here. We love the photos you took of Marvin’s cars. Actually, we had never been to the Papago Park lakes,…. Didn’t even know they existed.
Blessings to you sweet girl. I am a follower of Paul and also admire his ability to declare a trait in his humanness that maybe he had to ‘learn’ and didn’t necessarily want learn it. I was raised in a ‘flat line’ economy, meaning that my Dad, a car dealer, earned his living exclusively through commission. My siblings and I (5 of us) never knew if there was a financial problem because my parents never over-indulged when times were good and never held-back when times were rough. We simply lived an economic flat-line and enjoyed life’s abundance always. We learned the joy of sharing and giving freely because we kids always knew “there was more where that came from.” I guess that’s why I have no fear being an Entrepreneur. You must possess the same courage or better said; lack of fear (security).
You have reminded me of that fact and I am forever grateful to my parents for demonstrating the feeling of abundance. I doubt that I ever ‘needed’ anything in my life, but as an immature being, I’m certain I craved and wanted plenty.
Loving you,
Rosemary Price, Global Residual IncomeRosemary Pricehttp://www.meetup.com/Global-Residual-Income-Association/members/8528590/noreply@blogger.com
